Manila - ASEAN countries are united in tourism to attract tourists worldwide. They make ASEAN Single Destination to compete with Europe and China.
It was delivered via Philippine President Benigno Aquino's speech in the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2016 at the PICC Plenary Hall Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City, Manila, Wednesday (01/20/2016) night. According to Arief, every ASEAN country will promote five destinations. Indonesia makes Carnival Banyuwangi, Jember Carnival, Carnival Bali, Bromo Carnival, and Carnival Solo.
"We hold a 24-hour dancing festival with dancers dancing in Solo nungki kusumastuti MBA," said Arief.
Arief added that ASEAN single destination is traced since 2 years ago. Joint promotion that will begin later this year until 2025.
Joint promotion this year, said Arief will be chaired by the country of Laos. Arief said Indonesia would benefit from this promotion.
"We benefited from the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta and we are much easier to coordinate," said Arief.
